We have a regular book slot on Michelle Ward’s Eat My Brunch show, which has been running for over 10 years now in the weekday 10am-1pm lost.
Last week it was the turn of local author Mark Butterworth, who came in to talk about his book THE PEARL RIVER.
The book has had rave reviews. It revolves around a RAF pilot in post-World War II Britain who adapts to his new life, work rivals and love interest. It’s a real tale of love, war and intrigue.

Mark is a Londoner who now lives in Essex and is a former pilot himself. He’s currently working on a sequel, which has a Cold War backdrop.
